Construction manual carlift 208

You only need 13 liters of Hyraulicoil ( visco.32 or 46)
The oil is not in package .

Deliver amount

      -       1 big package with the  lift 4.2 mtr x 0,65 mtr x 0.70 mtr
-               1 Small package with the motor unit

Built up:
First open the big package and take the top runway off, this contains the hydraulic-cylinder. Now you can take out the other parts of the package.

Take away the coverplates , so you can see the hydraulic cylinder and the cables.

Dismantle both of the cablewheels (picture above)

Place the bolts in the holes before placing the wheels back again ( beware to use the right bolts, the longer ones are for the side where the ramps will hang in.)left picture.
Place the wheels back so the bolts stay in its place and the cables run freely over the wheels

Do the same with the 2 other wheels , and make sure that the cables run freely.

Pull the cables so the hydraulic-cylinder will come out and the cables will get longer , if it won’t go by pulling , help with a metalbar (see picture)

Lay the post on the floor with the crossbeam between it .
Beware that the lockingdevice, in the posts, are on the outside of the lift. Also should the lockingdevice of the crossbeams be on the outside of the lift.
Slide the crossbeams  from the top in the posts
Do the same on both sides and erect the posts (as a “H”frame)

Make sure the locking is been held free with one hand so it can slide easy down( see right picture)
Lift the crossbeams about 40 cm in its first locking and leave it hanging in it’s locking.
Do the same on both sides and place the H-frames so far that the place between the two
Frames are just right to put the runways on .

Lift the runways on the crosbeams and bolt the runways on. Make sure that the right runway
is been placed on the right side, the Hydraulic connection must be with the post that carries
the motorunit.

The plates that holds the ramps are bolded on with the same bolts to the crossbeam (right picture)
On the other side the safety plates are bolded on also. (picture below)

Place now the plate on top of the post with only the short bolt on the top/backside of the
post and place the cable in the hole and put the nuts (both on top ) on the cable, do so on
every 4 posts

take a good look to show if all the cables are running freely and the right way in the wheels.

Adjust the linkadge of the locking  exactly so that the locking will come free , and free enough
from the lockingblocks in the post.

Place the electric cable for the lockingrelais into the there for placed tubes (Above left picture)
(down right )

Connect hydraulic hose to the motorunit and place the springprotection over the hose and the
cable for the lockings, and connect the hose also to the nipple in the runway.

Place the motorunit and the controlbox on it’s post.

Place the hydraulic-hose , and lead it together with the locking cable trough the spring , this is
to protect the hose from damage)

The top switch is connected with only 2 connections in the cable (left down picture)
The lower switch (footprotection) is connected with 4 connections in the cable.(above right)

Make the connection for the sinkvalve(electro-magnetic) take away the transparent cab and the 2
Bleu cables, and place the black cab instead.(picture above middle)
Motorconnection :
The longer cable with the colors bleu brown and green/yellow is to connect the lift to the power .

Place the coverplates on the crossbeams (picture below)

Now you can place the side-runoff-protection plates on the side of the runway( if you find them in the way for a better use of your lift , you can leave them out )
And then place the coverplates back under the runway again .

Make sure all the cables and hose are in the correct way and place them so nothing sticks out

Now you can put in the oil and make the electricconnection .

When the locking doesn’t come free enough , you can take the spring from the lockingblock and turn it against the spring pressure to make it more loose this will help to make the locking come free better

Take a good look if all the locking ( all 4 post ) are coming free enough to make a safe lowering of the lift (VERY IMPORTAND)

You can now adjust the height of the lift on all the 4 posts ,just screw the nuts of the cables, on top of the post more or less, the lift will hang higher or lower, make sure that all the lockingblocks lock at exactly the same time .

Controlbox:
Greenlamp: Power on/off
Mainswitch
Alarm: When the lift is going down it will stop at the tough of the switch at the bottom of the post
you have to push the middle button and then the lift will go down again and will give a alarm signal.
Up:   Button to go up/lift
Lock / Safety down : With this button you can lower the lift into the locking ( so without unlocking the lift)
Down: The lift will go up for 5 cm at first, then it will unlock the lockings and will go down .

TIP: When you have the lift hanging in it’s lockings , and you want to go down, the best way to handle is to go up with the UP-Button for about 5 cm . then push the DOWN Button , the lift will rise again a few cm and then unlock and will lower to the floor
( this way you make sure that the lift will come correctly out of it’s locking )
